Anyway, after 40 miles my check engine light came on. And I know sometimes it can be because the gas cap isn’t tight enough. So after driving home from work I unscrewed the gas cap and I heard a bubbling sound coming from the tank. Almost like the gas was boiling. To me a gurgling sound would indicate that air is being drawn through whatever fluid you're hearing the gurgling from, in this case the gas in your truck. Check your fuel cap to make sure its on tight. Also might be worth a shot turning the truck on to idle and unscrewing the fuel cap to see if the noise gets louder.

It's like pressure in tank is the cause of no flow of gas n. Usually the problem is a restriction in the vent tube in the filler pipe, or the vent on top of the tank.

Only happens when gas tank is more than 1/2 full. After approx 1 minute of it being parked, I hear gas tank percolating like a coffee pot and fuel comes out of one of the vents for about 10 seconds.
